In major cities across the United States, dead bodies sometimes go unclaimed… for decades.
In an effort to finally give some peace to these restless John and Jane Does, police departments have begun posting pictures of the dead online. It’s a fine line. The pics are sometimes gruesome (I refuse to look at the Milwaukee PD’s dead babies link). But putting the pictures out there may help solve some of the country’s coldest cases.
